"Found it in the Good Beer guide, we tried a few of the real ales... Lovely all of them! Very cosy welcoming place. Food was brilliant, great menu we settled for a really good bowl of homemade soup, and local sausages and mash and red onion and port chutney... amazing. Couldn't fault it. A great pub. Village is very "chocolate box" and quiet, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We walked to Jane Austen's house after lunch."
